Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care β washing, bathing, dressing, and continence care β with dignity and respect
- Support with medication prompting or administration in line with training and care plans
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling, using equipment correctly
- Help with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Carry out light domestic tasks included in the individual's care plan
- Accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and social outings
- Accurately record care delivered and promptly report any changes in condition
- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient, and genuinely compassionate nature
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible about shift patterns, including some weekends
- Good communication skills and a respectful, professional manner
- Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and ongoing mandatory training
- Previous care experience is welcome but not essential β full training is provided
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for community-based visits
- The right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we support you through this process)
